Wholemeal cake with strawberries and marzipan on the grill

Because I like the sweet and I always leave a place for dessert, I find all the dessert ideas that you can prepare for barbecue, very attractive. Here's the last of a series of summer Gusto recipes. :-)

This cake is quite simple, practical and you can adapt it to seasonal fruit. If you prepare the dough in advance, you may also put it in a marzipan mold, then it will just be enough to move it to the grill and voila at the right time, the dessert is almost done. Just add fresh strawberries and whipped cream or sour cream and serve.
You can experiment in the future. Also add suitable berries, bits of sprinkling nuts before grilling. If you are grilled with fruit, do not forget to bake on the grill with the lid closed.

Dust all dough processed and packed in the foil for at least one hour in the refrigerator.

Wash strawberries, remove stems and cut them into slices or marigolds.

Cold cold dough rest for about 4 mm thin plate and place on plate or disposable grilling aluminum molds with baking paper. Now roll the marzipan to the appropriate size of the mold, or just cut into thin slices and spread over the entire surface of the mold lined with dough. To make your marzipan well rolled and not glued to a roller or board, use the flour sugar instead of flour instead of flour.

Grill indirectly in the middle heat. Whether you have any grill, place the mold so that it is not the main source of heat directly underneath. This means coal or briquettes are loaded on the sides, the active gas burners are only on the sides. On a heated grill about 150 ° C, bake for 30 minutes.

Spread strawberries evenly on a roasted marzipan base and serve with whipped cream or sour cream.
