Poppy sticks

Poppy sticks

This recipe is only home for us for the second year and I have a great friend from my school from my mother Grétcin. Perhaps we liked it more. I believe she will find her lovers among you. Whether because you like poppy that is full of calcium or because these poppy sticks are gluten-free. You will have them done as dup, which is also appropriate for Christmas.

I have come to this recipe for a single pitfall, and this is conditioned by how much or little the poppy is milled. It may happen that the poppy will be milled a little, and then the dough will be dry and not and will not combine in a nice compact mass. So if you are preparing the poppy in your own blender or other handy assistant, do not be afraid to achieve a more sticky consistency, then you will be able to work better with dill. And if you buy the poppy already milled and the dough becomes drier, add a drop of rum or egg white so it will merge nicely. To me, this recipe is a little too sweet and I would love to make it into the future and have replaced sugar for example with dates. But it will be a completely different recipe. And I think it's worth publishing it pretty nicely and in the original. Have beautiful holidays everybody. <3

1.

In a large bowl, mix ground poppy, sugar, vanilla and rum. In the second container, cut snow from two whites with a pinch of salt and then connect it with poppy seed.

2.

Now prepare the icing. Half of the egg whites, sugar and lemon juice will smooth the smoothing.

3.

Preheat the oven to 160 ° C. On a roll between two sheets of baking paper, roll the dough onto a 3 mm thin sheet. Wrap this plate evenly with the icing and cut it into small rectangles using a rack or knife. For example, they can be small sticks or squares, just remember to increase when baking.

4.

Slice the cut pieces on a baking sheet with baking paper and bake in the oven at 160 ° C for about 15 minutes. The resulting sticks should remain so sticky inside, and they will be white. If you would have fed them longer, they would be dry, like snow buns. Put the finished sticks in an airtight container.
