Ginger Lemonade

Do you like Ginger but? If so, you will love this lemonade. Prepare ginger syrup and then you will share just a few moments of perfect, spicy and fresh lemonade. Ginger is a panacea that strengthens your immunity, starts the digestive system and metabolism, works relaxing and, in addition, aphrodisiac.

If you have lemon grass at hand, it is great for refreshing freshness. You can put it with ginger in the base of the syrup itself or cut into a glass of ready-made lemonade. My syrup is made from dark cane sugar, which contains more molasses and is healthier, so the syrup and the resulting lemonade have a darker as if tea color. If you use light sugar, the lemonade will be completely clear.

In the middle pot, add grated ginger with half a liter of water and bring to boil. Then add all the sugar, a pinch of salt and stir until all is dissolved. Leave the plate and let the mixture cool down and settle for at least 30 minutes.

Ready Strain the syrup through a fine bed sheet or muslin and place the bottle in the fridge. Concentrated base for lemonade is ready and stored for several days.

When you want to serve, pour a little ginger syrup into a glass, add half a lemon juice, a few ginger slices, a twig of fresh mint, or lemon grass, a few ice cubes, and add cold, sparkling mineral water or soda. Voila!
