Adder
17. December 2012
This is one of our traditional family recipes for candy and again from Moravian grandmother Jiřinky. She is very grateful and practical, I would even call it a recipe for laziness, but with little effect.
I like playing nuts, seeds, and dried fruit, just not just about sugar, smooth flour and butter, but some added value that I really appreciate for many and many reasons. No piping with shaping perfect rolls, no whiskers, no decoration, trimming, fighting, sticking. Does not it sound like a perfect candy ad?
The original recipe is smooth flour, and visually engenders will be more contrasting, but I've replaced it for a slightly healthier version. This year I added almonds, chia seeds , sunflower, chopped linseed, dried cherries and cranberries. Lemon bark and spices in the original version were not, and so are very good.
This quantity is on two sheets of Engadiens.
