If you are not familiar with it, then the marriage couple Luis and David are now behind this blog. Luis is a Danish woman who, when she fell in love with Italy in Swede David, was not a vegetarian, but a very conscious and healthy eating companion. While David was an unhealthy eating vegetarian. In order to be able to connect their not only eating worlds, they began to work together to make healthy and vegetarian recipes, which they were filling their blog, which, like my own, should not have the ambition of becoming a popular one. It was a virtual space that lived just for the joy and also to collect the works that were created together. In time, they founded a family and children grew like my own. They have a first-born daughter and two younger sons, and their children are of the same age and sex in the same order as mine. They also released the first book when they had only a small Elsa, just like I was publishing my first cookbook when I had only a little Grace. But it's just that we have a lot in common, and maybe we have something to say.
So the recipes of these bloggers are characterized by being vegetarian, timeless, modern, healthy and fit for the whole family.
I kept blogging and later released my first cookbook ( Kitchenette ) and also opened her KitchenetteShop for her. I have been given the task that this virtual store will be the place where I will make products that I like myself. I stand by and I can recommend them. And so I waited a long time for the Czech edition of cookbooks that this couple had published over the years. But nothing came. I will add that I had no ambition to be the publisher of books other than my own. But time has passed, and last winter, on our family holiday in Indonesia, I sighed to Jozef (husband) that it is really a shame that no one has yet decided to go to the Czech Republic when they have released so many great books and sold hundreds of thousands whole world.
And then what has happened is often called coincidence.
The next morning we headed for the beach and when we found our place and started to settle, I saw Luis, David and their three little children. We immediately recognized them. Now you will understand why I told you about my relationship with idols ...
Frankly, I could not find words, I was like a little girl who met her greatest idol. I was totally lost. I!!!? I can see why some people are failing in these situations. :-)
Anyway, we finally greeted them and showed them respect, for the work they do, but definitely that day there was no trade agreement. It was just the event that pushed me a bit further on my way. Luis and David were somewhat shaken off the day or maybe shy and I could not really decide if they were just uncomfortable with the breach of privacy or were they just less hearty than I imagined them ..?
The next day I decided to order at least the English version to my store and again fate took me a little else. Instead of finding a distributor easily, clicking has led me to a deal about buying a right to Czech translation. Everything went somewhat strangely smooth, unforgiving, and actually I feel that if something is to be done and it makes sense, it should probably even take place smoothly. In the meantime, I had a nice team I had worked with, and the cook traveled to the printer. I will not conceal that it was a great risk to publish a cookbook of authors who are almost unknown in Czech, but I believed and hoped that many of you would love them because their kitchen is really inspirational and very good. Thanks to the release myself, I tried another line of recipes from their book, and one posted a blog post a few days ago.
And so I get into the narrative almost to this day.
When the cook came out at the end of the summer, I held a baptism and a small book signing at the Mama Shelter , when Luis and David came to Prague in person. This was a bit of my personal drama, and I was not honest if I did not even tell you about this part of the story. Of course, I had previously communicated with the authors and tried to produce the meeting. Buy tickets, provide accommodation, ... But I was struggling with a very smooth cooperation. They reacted to mails with a long delay. There was a lot of measurement, and until the last moment I was afraid that they would finally quit and talk about something. It was really a personal drama, because I was terribly afraid I'd be disappointed with them. I did not feel ashamed that they would come if they did not, as if they were not ONI. I can not imagine selling, promoting and recommending a book of authors that are not what they are doing. They are arrogant, thoughtful, unreliable. I personally think there is some level of professionalism and there is, for example, timely response to emails, but I often get into a situation where I do not respond to my mails in time. In short, it is not in human power and a personal assistant who does not handle my mail, and I do not want to have it yet. :-) So I would have an understanding for it, but I had to go through my drama for many reasons.
Eventually, finally, at a personal meeting, fortunately it turned out to be really great, hearty and nice people, only scandinavian measured at the beginning and also have something to do with little children and work around everything they do. And so it was really a really nice meeting. I believe that so did everyone involved. Luise is like a beautiful fairy with her whole being, and David is practical, creative, sympathetic and very friendly. They both enjoyed the visit. I think Prague and the whole event were very surprised and promised to come back soon because they liked us. Before they left, they signed a pile of cooks.

I wanted to encourage this story mainly to encourage everyone who is going to step out of his comfort zone. Everyone who is creative and creative. I would not think of anything like this in my life, and yet it was a small step. Of course, every decision means work, and nothing happened alone, but if you enjoy it and you feel like doing the right thing, it's all easier and the energy is multiplying, so you become yourself a new energy supply.
