Bean Brownies from dates served with ice cream

Bean Brownies from dates served with ice cream

When you look at the ingredients, you will not find flour, gluten-free gluten and even no refined sugar, but if you tasted the brownies, I believe you would not know the absence of all these common ingredients. Which I think is great!

I have been incorporating legumes in the past year more and more. Often I cook some sort of legume on the boxes, then quinoa and during the week when there is less time, then as I find and cook so spontaneously different vegetarian recipes, which, thanks to preparation, do not last long. Great is a curry of mungo beans that you can also find on the blog. Then I apply them to various salads, buddha bowls, hummus, bean burger, or teas in this brownies. And children like the cooked legumes just so. Especially chickpeas and bigger beans.
But I dated a sweet dough from the beans. I did not like a very dense structure. So I'm delighted to be able to give you this recipe, which is ridiculously easy and good and nutritious.
If you cook the beans on this dough from the dried ones, be aware that you will have approximately 3 cups of beer from one pot of beans.
I drank this dessert with Carte D'or ice cream. Because when dessert and ice cream are said, I instantly get hot chocolate brownies, so it was a pleasure to create. Although I wanted to prepare a recipe for vanilla ice cream, I could not help and try it with walnut, because ice cream with walnuts and maple syrup have been on my ice cream top for many years. (So I hope they'll forgive. :-))

I've got a few questions about bean weights and dry-to-cook transfers.
Thus, from 250 g of dry beans, you get 430 g of soaked beans (after 20 hours of soaking) and after cooking, you will have 530 g of cooked beans.
So, for 300 g of cooked beans, you need 142 g of dry beans.

1.

Preheat the oven to 175 ° C. Unpack the baking paper or wipe the 20 x 20 cm brownies with a fat spray. You can also use a form for one-minute brownies.

2.

All ingredients except baking soda and nuts should be placed in a blender container and mixed smoothly. Finally, mix the soda briefly and immediately move the dough into the mold, spread evenly with a spatula, or sprinkle the nuts and bake in the oven.

3.

Bake for 20-25 minutes. Brownies should be still very damp inside. Serve still and still warm or cold. It tastes great with ice cream or whipped cream.
