Sage potatoes from one pan

I really like the basic raw materials in their pure form, and I really love new potatoes with just the jars and chives. In short, when the crops are at their peak, in the season, they are the most delicious and full of vitamins. Actually, it is any vegetable or fruit. Maybe we have somewhere deep under the skin, the stinging memory of breaking tomatoes directly from the tree and biting them in the sunshine. Or maybe it was peppers, cucumbers, carrots or radishes? But these memories always contain most of all those sensory experiences. Do you also have them under the skin?

Somehow I asked and dreamed. But I wanted to say that the kitchen does not have to be complicated. Or, for me, it may not be complicated for me to enjoy my meal. This recipe is very easy, but I think you will create a nice meal that can serve as a main course or a festive dinner. I'd love to inspire you to create your own version again. They used different herbs. For example, thyme, rosemary, bay leaf, estragon. They added gingerbread garlic. For the final baking of potatoes, you can also sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
And if you share with me down here in the comments or maybe an instagram photo, it's almost as if I'm sitting with you at the table and I will not be less happy about it.

1.

Preheat the oven to a 170 ° C hot air program. Grease with fat (I use fat in the spray ) in the form of baking potatoes. The cast-iron pan is great, but you can also use a different form of approximate size. Round diameter should be about 24 cm.

2.

Cut the washed potatoes, including the thin slices, approximately 3 mm. Mandolin is a great fit. (Just like this . :-)) Always cut one potato, adjust it a bit so that it resembles the shape of the potatoes again and put it in the mold. Cut all the potatoes in this way, put them in the mold and press them gently to make a little slice and fill the whole surface. But still try to make them a little bit, because their edges will open slightly to make crispy slices.

3.

Now spread the sage leaves evenly and slide them between the slices of the potatoes. Brush all with melted butter, pour the cream and send it to your taste. I used a salty flower "Rose" , which also contains pink pepper.
Bake for 1 hour until the potatoes are crisp and baked. Finally, increase the temperature to 200 ° C and bake for 10-15 minutes until they are beautifully crunchy on the hill. You can still sprinkle finished potatoes with cheese.
